Summit Veterinary Referral Center is seeking a Part-time Facilities/Inventory Clerk to join our team. The Facilities/Inventory Clerk will be responsible for providing support to the inventory and facilities teams, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and assisting with facility maintenance.

 

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in inventory and facilities support

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to effectively track incoming and outgoing inventory

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge in facilities support and maintenance preferred

• Veterinary medical background knowledge is a plus

 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with inventory intake and distribution, logging all incoming packages

• Prepare and ship outgoing packages

• Handle and support internal moves and facility projects, including furniture assembly and disassembly

• Assist facility management with day-to-day operations, following established policies and procedures

• Comply with the security program and report any violations

• Conduct cycle and inventory counts, ensuring consistency and accuracy

• Maintain records of variances and product transfers

• Update paperwork for vendor products and maintain accurate inventories

• Monitor procurement requests and ensure accuracy in inbound inventory

• Manage inventory transactions and provide feedback to the team as needed

• Support the janitorial team and participate in staff training

• Promote a positive work environment and contribute to Summit's vision and mission

• Assist with the implementation of new protocols and policies

• Report to the Inventory and Facilities Supervisor, indirectly to the Hospital Services Manager

• Perform tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager

Availability:​​

• Sat-Tues 7p-12am or 6p-11pm

Benefits:​

• Hourly pay range- $16.00 - $20.00 depending on experience 

• Shift differential for any shift hours worked within 6p-6am $3/hr Mon-Thurs and $5/hr Fri-Sun​
