A bit about Dr. Milo

Ever since childhood, Dr. Jewel Milo has loved animals. Growing up on an island with limited veterinary care, she felt a calling early on to advocate for and help as many pets as possible. Her passion drew her to veterinary school at St. George’s University, then to Western College of Veterinary Medicine at University of Saskatchewan where she completed her internship program and her residency.

In her fourth clinical year of Veterinary school, Dr. Milo fell in love with Internal Medicine. From the well-rounded internists she worked with to the challenging problem solving involved in the work itself, she knew specializing in Internal Medicine was the choice for her. Dr. Milo moved to the PNW to work for Summit, and never looked back. She’s focused on growing and developing as an internist, practicing excellent medicine, and forming meaningful connections with the people and patients she works with.

Outside of work, Dr. Milo spends her time exploring all the PNW has to offer with her family and three beloved cats: a 16-year-old diva named Lulu, a mischievous 6-year-old pretty boy named Lennard, and a 2.5-year-old sweetheart named Lollipop.
