A bit about Dr. Honjo
Dr. Kurando Honjo grew up in Los Angeles, California. His roots in veterinary medicine began when he started as a volunteer at a local animal hospital and he has been in love with the field ever since! He obtained a bachelor’s degree at University of California Irvine in biology and received his DVM from Michigan State University. After graduating veterinary school Dr. Honjo moved to Fairfax, Virginia to complete a one-year rotating internship at VCA Southpaws Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Center.
In his free time, Dr. Honjo enjoys hiking and camping, and is excited to explore all the other kinds of outdoor activities through the beautiful northwest. His other hobbies include scale model building and painting, and a recent interest in 3D modeling and 3D printing.
