Our Pet Loss Support Group provides:
The people who attend our Pet Loss Support Group come from a variety of backgrounds; different ages, genders, ethnicities, religious and spiritual beliefs. Some group members have lost their pet suddenly or unexpectedly, while others were long-term caregivers and watched their pet decline. Some had their pet for a brief time, others for many years or even decades. Through these differences, there is a commonality that all group members share. Each person is heartbroken, loves their pet dearly, and is navigating the void left from losing him or her. People who attend group have found that even though each person’s loss is unique, there are common experiences that they share, and that ultimately - they are not alone.
Seeing how others heal in their grief journey also offers hope for the future.
