Summit Veterinary Referral Center is hiring for a Referral Coordinator

The Referral Coordinator at Summit Veterinary Referral Center plays a crucial role in the hospital by working closely with the specialty departments on various important tasks. We are seeking a driven and self-motivated individual with a strong background in client service. This is a full-time position operating five days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients regarding updates and follow-ups

• Schedule appointments for clients

• Take referrals from other veterinary clinics

• Maintain medical records

• Prepare charts for appointments

• Handle medication refill requests

• Organize and maintain department emails

• Coordinate communication with referring veterinarians

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a client service role, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Proficient in computer skills and knowledge of veterinary software systems

• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively

• Must have a passion for providing exceptional client service

• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and compassion

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment

Benefits:

• Hourly pay range- $18.00 - $26.00 depending on experience

• Shift differential for any shift hours worked within 6p-6am $3/hr Mon-Thurs and $5/hr Fri-Sun
