Dr. Ryan Schultz graduated from the Washington State University school of Veterinary Medicine, Cum Laude, in 2004. The following year he completed a rotating small animal internship at a busy referral practice, Affiliated Veterinary Specialists, in Maitland, Florida. Dr. Schultz completed a radiology and diagnostic imaging residency at the University of California, Davis and became a board certified radiologist in 2008. He also completed a 4th year at UC Davis, acting as the clinical radiologist on duty.

Dr. Schultz then moved back home to pursue private practice and worked as the head radiologist at SVS for 5 ½ years. At this hospital he converted a minimal radiology case load to a thriving full time department, offering radiograph reading, ultrasound, guided biopsies and aspirates, CT with guided biopsies, MRI and fluoroscopy services. With a passion for writing and pursuing knowledge, Dr. Schultz has published approximately ten scientific articles and textbook chapters related to veterinary diagnostic imaging.

Dr. Schultz now provides mobile and teleradiology imaging services to many general and specialty hospitals in the greater Puget Sound region. He enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with family, playing the guitar, writing and working out. He lives in the Snohomish area with his wife, daughter, two dogs, and two cats.
