Makensie Caudle

Makensie brings a unique blend of healthcare leadership, people leadership, and a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to our team. With a genuine passion for both animal and human care, she combines professional expertise with empathetic leadership to create meaningful impact.

Makensie holds an MBA in Human Resources Management, an MA in History, and certifications in DEI and Business Statistics. She is also a licensed paramedic, having graduated from Fresno City College's Paramedic Program in 2008, where she completed her internship with the Tulare City Fire Department.

Outside of work, Makensie proudly embraces her inner "history nerd," with a special interest in the British monarchy. She's a devoted Elton John fan—his music is often the soundtrack to her day. Makensie enjoys spending quality time with her wife of nineteen years, Cecilia, their four children—Jaiden, Natalie, Maxwell, and Ella—and their beloved pets, including three cats (Sandy, Nami, and Robin), a dog named Chaos, two guinea pigs, and a hamster.

Deeply rooted in her community, Makensie supports her local animal shelter, volunteers with her local Girl Scout troop, and is involved in the La Causa Program at Warrenton Grade School, which supports Latin American families. She is also a proud member of the Clatsop County Historical Society.
