A bit about Dr. Ellis

Dr. Connor Ellis became a veterinarian after discovering his passion for both animals and medicine in high school. After veterinary school at the Western University of Health Sciences, he completed an internship at Angell Animal Medical Center, followed by a residency in emergency and critical care at the University of Florida.

Dr. Ellis initially planned to pursue a career in zoological medicine, but after exposure to critical care medicine, found a new passion. He was drawn to emergency and critical care medicine due to the variety of cases and fast pace, and enjoys his time in the ICU. His clinical interests include coagulopathy, extracorporeal therapy, toxin ingestion, and sepsis.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Ellis enjoys ice hockey, tennis, hiking, paddleboarding, and other outdoor activities. His border collie Cinder is a constant source of happiness.
